February 2021 – Waiting for the thaw

As with so much of our day-to-day activity during the pandemic years, the previously steady emergence of the Twin Dome as a new space for art and science was suddenly stopped in its tracks. All plans for future observatory Open Nights and other potential Twin Dome events were put on hold and the building as an arts/science venue was now very much in the freezer. Which is a very fitting metaphor alongside the captioned image above taken during a sudden flurry of snow in February 2021.
The image is actually a screen-grab as it was originally an upload to ‘street view’ on google earth and can still be found here as a small window back to a very dormant Twin Dome in uncertain times.
