The Twin Dome on the road

We’ll be taking to the road (not far) with the Twin Dome tomorrow (18th May) as we join in the UK-wide fun known as “Pint of Science”.
My long-time collaborator of Anne-Marie Weijmans has needed to pull out with a last minute diary clash so I’m very grateful that PhD student Ryan Corzo has agreed to step in and we’ll be at Sandy’s bar, St Mary’s Place in St Andrews from 7.30 pm
We’ll have the ceramic Twin Dome (with lego queue waiting outside), a secondary mirror which was once part of the twin telescope along with a sloan disc which relates to much more contemporary astronomy. We’ll top it off with a part of the new robotic focal plane system to be truly contemporary.
