May 18th 2026 – Better weather coming
It looks like we’ll finally be getting some reasonable May sunshine and warmth later this week. So I’m going to start keeping a close watch on the three wildflower beds to the front of the Twin Dome.
This year we have added in some perennials to the mix of annuals so that should give quite a different look to the mix of the previous two years. The main thing we’re hoping to avoid is for the flower beds to be completely taken over by Corn Marigolds as they were last year. It’s a very nice yellow but a bit more variety would be good.
